What is Ultra Kesh Grow Oil?
Ultra Kesh Grow Oil is an Ayurvedic hair and scalp conditioning oil in a base of sesame and coconut oil, infused with Bhringraj, Amla and Brahmi. You massage it into the scalp, leave it for an hour or overnight, then wash it out. Because it is a cosmetic conditioning oil rather than a medicine, it works on the hair you already have.
Is your hair breaking, or is it shedding?
People use the phrase hair fall for two completely different problems, and an oil only helps with one of them. So before you buy anything, work out which one you have. So collect the strands from your comb, then look at the ends.
Here the strand snaps mid length. Typically both ends look blunt or frayed, and the pieces are short. Dryness, rough combing, heat and tight styles cause this. Therefore a conditioning oil helps, since it reduces friction and softens the hair, so fewer strands snap and you keep the length you have already grown.
By contrast, the whole strand comes out with a small white bulb at the root. Losing 50 to 100 a day is normal. However, heavier shedding usually traces back to iron or thyroid levels, a recent illness, childbirth, crash dieting or genetics. Since no oil corrects any of those, please see a doctor and get a blood test.
What does Ultra Kesh Grow Oil actually do?
Four things, all of them cosmetic and all of them about the hair already on your head.
Oil coats the shaft and cuts friction, so the comb pulls through instead of snapping strands. As a result, you retain more of the length you grow.
Sesame and coconut oil relieve the tightness and flaking that dryness causes, especially in winter and in hard water areas.
Conditioned hair reflects more light and tangles less. In turn, detangling gets easier, which itself prevents further breakage.
Five minutes of scalp massage is relaxing, and it is the part of the ritual most people actually look forward to. The oil gives your fingers the slip to do it properly.
And what this oil will not do
This oil will not regrow hair on a bald patch, reverse pattern baldness, stop hereditary hair loss, or restore natural colour to grey hair. Schedule J of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 lists baldness, growth of new hair, and premature greying of hair. Consequently no product sold in India may claim any of them, and no cosmetic oil delivers them regardless of what the law says.
Equally, it is not a treatment for dandruff, scalp infection or alopecia. If you have a flaking scalp that keeps returning, a spreading bald patch, or sudden heavy shedding, please see a dermatologist. Those need diagnosis, and some of them respond well to actual treatment when caught early.
What is inside the bottle?

How do you use it?
Twice a week is enough. In fact, oiling daily does not speed anything up, and it leaves the scalp greasy.
Two teaspoons for short hair, three or four for long. Then warm the bowl in hot water rather than the microwave.
Work along the partings with your fingertips, so that the oil reaches the scalp rather than just the top layer of hair.
Use the pads of your fingers in small circles. Above all, never scratch with your nails, because that damages the scalp.
An hour is plenty, although overnight works too. Afterwards, wash with a mild shampoo and expect to need two rounds.
When will you see a difference?

Safety and precautions
- Patch test behind the ear 24 hours before the first full application. Herbal oils can cause allergic reactions, and any brand claiming zero side effects is overstating it.
- For external use on hair and scalp only. Never swallow it.
- Keep it out of the eyes. Rinse with plain water if it gets in.
- Do not apply to broken skin, open sores or a sunburnt scalp.
